Will I be successful after my first class at Inspire?

Of course! You did the very best you can do. However for maximum benefit and to feel the most confident we suggest at least 3 classes to become comfortable and have correct form. Why not try our New Guest 3 Ride Pass for $35 available here

What facilities are available at InspireCycle?

We have full bathroom facilities including showers, toilets, beauty station and waiting areas.

This is my first class, should I arrive early?

YES. All guests need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class to sign the waiver and for set up of your shoes, bike and explanation of format of the class. We do not allow entry after class start.

How much does it cost?

Our standard drop in class is $24 per person or $15 for a student. All classes includes complimentary SPD shoe hire, and fresh towels. We also have one month passes, packs and memberships.

DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO A LONG TERM MEMBERSHIP?

No, we have a variety of ride packs, one month passes + memberships to choose from, ranging from single ride to 3-6 month memberships—no hidden costs or lock in contracts.

I’VE NEVER DONE A CLASS LIKE THIS BEFORE, WILL THIS BE A PROBLEM?

Not at all. Our Team members will ensure you are ready, able and eager to enjoy your very first class, regardless of experience. We have clients of all ages, from all walks of life and fitness levels – we all ride together as one #InspireArmy.

ARE CLASSES SUITABLE FOR ANY AGE?

To ensure safe use of the facilities, riders need to be at least 12 years of age and 4’11 inches tall. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to authorise your attendance by signing a waiver.

DO I NEED TO BE FIT BEFORE TAKING A CLASS?

You can work at your own pace and gradually increase your fitness and endurance levels over time. Getting physically fitter, healthier and more mentally resilient is all part of this rewarding journey. If you have any specific health concerns though, please discuss them with your doctor before attending, and alert the instructor to your circumstances. There are classes we prefer New Riders not try out – please ask reception for more information.

WHY DO I NEED CLEATED SHOES?

Cleated shoes are essential for getting the most out of your ride. These shoes increase the connection between your legs and the bike, allowing you to spend more time out of the saddle, burning more calories!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK?

Bookings can be made 7 days in advance. Some special events have a longer booking window.

HOW MANY CALORIES ARE BURNED DURING A CLASS?

Depending on your body composition and the amount of energy you put into your ride, you should burn an average of 500-700 calories during a 45 minute cycle ride and 400-600 during a combo class.

I AM PREGNANT CAN I RIDE?

We recommend seeking advice regarding classes from your GP, however we do have pregnant women complete cycling classes as it is low impact on the joints.

DO YOU HAVE CHILD CARE?

Unfortunately we do not have the facilities for childcare.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Our locations are in the heart of residential/commercial areas, which means you need to allow extra time for parking.

  • Teneriffe offers on street parking, very limited onsite parking, and recommendation to park at Gasworks Plaza which is 350m from our door
  • Southport offers on street parking, and Brickworks Centre parking.
  • Walking or riding in is another option – start the workout early!
