GETTING YOUR MOTIVATION BACK INTO RHYTHM POST-EASTER

EASTER IS THE TIME OF YEAR TO SAY YES TO ALL THOSE YUMMY TREATS…

If you are like the InspireCycle team, you spent the Easter weekend over-indulging in chocolate and fun. Cheese platters are here to stay. It can always be a little hard to find your motivation and get back into the groove after a restful long-weekend off. Here are some tips on how to get your motivation back into motion after Easter:

 

Get rid of the Easter treats (or eat them quickly!):
If you’re house is looking like a candy store, it is probably time to clear the treats out. Out of sight, out of mind. Set yourself a day early in the week to make your house a ‘clean’ zone – it is important to have the temptation away

 

Reassess your health goals:
Think about what you want and visualise it. Revisit your New Year’s Resolution. How much progress have you made, and what do you need to do to get back to your pre-Easter shape. Take time to reassess your personal goals as well, and find some motivation within yourself to move forward.

 

Meal prep:
Prepping your meals will help you stay on track for the week. Make your meals after the weekend when you are feeling motivated to make a lasting change. If it is cooked and ready in the fridge, you will be more likely to stick to the plan you have set out.
