We've all agreed that this recommendation deserves top pick of the month! The city library services are so underrated, especially if one of your goals for 2023 is to read more.
BCC Library membership is free; so if you don't want to spend $30 on a book, this should be your new go to! Membership also includes audio book services, so it's perfect for 'on the go' listening 🎧 if that's your style!

A local love 🖤. After Dark has the BEST selection of wines and amazing service (the wait staff are so friendly!). Ready for the best part? 4pm-5pm everyday is Yappy Hour; so everyone brings their dogs for discounted drinks. It's really just the best vibe!

Like a digital daily quote or gratitude card (with the convenience of having it on your phone), this app is a great way to start the day! The app also allows you to tailor the quotes with different topics; such as self esteem, relationships, or dealing with stress.
It's gotten me through this month. Highly recommend!

THE SHOW MUST GO ON: THE QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT STORY
This documentary details the serendipitous pairing of legendary rock band Queen and powerhouse Adam Lambert. It includes rare footage and candid interviews - it's so well done and I can't recommend it enough!
LIME PROSECCO GRANITA
This is the perfect summer dessert. Crisp, cold and sweet; it's impossible to mess up ( such an easy recipe!) and therefore perfect for summer hosting!
So easy to make and also perfect for hosting, I can't say much more than that, you'll just have to try it for yourself!
1 cup of water
1 cup of caster sugar
100ml fresh lime juice
1tbs lime zest
Boil the water and caster sugar to make a sugar syrup. Let cool and pour into a flat dish.
Add lime zest, lime juice, and prosecco to the dish. Mix together.
Place dish in the freezer for 4ish hours.
Scrape with a fork into cocktail glasses or glass cups, serve with a spoon and a slice of lime 🍸
