RECOMMENDATIONS FROM OUR TEAM TO YOU.
We're not gatekeepers here at Inspire. If we have a good recommendation, we have to let everybody know about it! These are our July recommendations, from our favourite restaurants to novels, podcasts, television shows, and local businesses.
TO EAT...
1. FISHBOWL, GAS WORKS
Fishbowl always hits the spot. It's healthy, quick, and is a great way to refuel before or after an intense workout (not to mention only a 5min walk from the Inspire studio).
All their bowls ingredients are ethically sourced, and you can always customise your bowl to your liking. In other words, you know that you're going to get the good stuff every. single. time.
Ari especially raves about the miso eggplant bowl!
2. BELLA AND TORTEI BAKERY, GRANGE
As tasty as they are beautiful. We promise Bella and Tortei cakes are well worth the short drive to Grange (just past Windsor). Whether you want something savoury or sweet, this little bakery promises it all!
Make sure not to miss their Sunday Special! Any 6 cakes for $36.
TO WATCH...
The Marvelous Mr's Maisel - Amazon Prime
Not Okay - Disney+
The Most Hated Man on the Internet - Netflix
TO READ...
LOVE STORIES, TRENT DALTON
Taken from GoodReads:
Trent Dalton, Australia's best-loved writer, goes out into the world and asks a simple, direct question: 'Can you please tell me a love story?'
A blind man yearns to see the face of his wife of thirty years. A divorced mother has a secret love affair with a travelling priest. A widower miraculously finds a three-minute video recorded by his wife before she died. A tree lopper's heart falls in a forest. A working mum contemplates taking the photographs of her late husband down from the fridge. A girl writes her last letter to the man she loves, then sets it on fire. An ageing gigolo regrets the one that got away.
Endless stories. Human stories. Love stories.
