MEET HAYLEY

Get to know your newest InspireCycle Teneriffe instructor 🚲

Meet Hayley!

Super Mum of 2 and an Inspire enthusiast since 2020, Hayley's unwavering love for movement shines through in everything she does. Her attitude is contagious - you'll spend 45 minutes on the bike with a big smile and dancing along 🕺.

We can't wait for you to get to know Hayley below!

Hayley, tell us a little bit about you!

I'm 29 years old and a proud mom of two wonderful children—one is six years old, and the other is almost four. I am married to an incredible builder and this year marks our fifth wedding anniversary (wahoooo!). I'm absolutely passionate about everything related to health and fitness. One of my favourite things to do is put healthy spins on recipes for my family in the kitchen. On weekends, you'll often catch me with a glass of red wine (or three 😉) in hand, enjoying some downtime. I'm all about good food, good company, and creating memories with the people that I love!

Can you tell us a little bit about your background in the fitness industry and how you got started in cycle?

Honestly, it feels like fitness has always been a part of my life. Ever since I was young, I was involved in various forms of dance, such as jazz, ballet, and musical theatre. As I got older, I found group fitness classes and fell in love!

Around three years ago, I stumbled upon Inspire, and it was a game-changer for me. I fell in love with rhythm riding and knew immediately I had found my jam. Although I've been an Inspire enthusiast for quite some time, it's only been in the past nine months that I officially stepped into the fitness industry as an instructor!

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Positive. Energetic. Fun.

How would you describe your teaching style?

Fast-paced and feel-good. I love pushing the limits with a speedy jog or heart pumping sprint (always matched with vibey music of course 🎧)!

What do you enjoy the most about teaching cycle?

Cycle is so much more than just a spin class, and it's hard to explain unless you've experienced it firsthand. The energy that is created in the room is just unmatched! There's something special about the love and support from the riders, the shared commitment to hard work, and the fun we all have together.

What’s your favourite motivational mantra to get you through a tough class?

“You can do hard sh*t” or “get comfortable with being uncomfortable”.

Who’s your favourite music artist of all time and also favourite music genre?

This is too hard.... I think I would say John Mayer, but you will probably NEVER hear me play a John Mayer song in one of my spin classes 😂.

For spin I am a pop queen! I love dance music or any good pop remixes. I even love a random Madonna or Queen throwback.

What advice would you give to someone who’s stepping into your class for the first time?

Just have fun!

Take the ride at your own pace, everyone is one their own spin journey and there is no need for comparison. Take breaks in the saddle when you need, and also just be proud of yourself for showing up!

Okay, what about....

What’s one thing we might be surprised to learn about you? (a fun fact)

I am a qualified makeup artist and I also make a very good chilli marg 🌶🍸.

What will be your first theme ride?

Ooh I'd love to do a “Trending Tik Tok Music" ride 🎶.

Favourite time of the day to work out 🚲 ?

I'm definitely a morning girly!

Next destination on your bucket list?

I'm dying to do a Queenstown Ski Trip ⛷.

What is your biggest goal for 2023?

To complete my Pilates Instructor Training.

Athleisure or dressing up?

Athleisure all the way!

This Sunday at 8:00am, Hayley will be joining the team at the studio for her FREE Community Ride!
